About Me

Dr. Madelynn Stackhouse is the Associate Professor of Management, Margaret Van Hoy Hill Dean’s Notable Scholar, and Undergraduate Director of Human Resources at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her research specializes in leadership, personality, workplace relationships, and ethics. With 25+ top-tier journal publications, she’s received multiple research awards at national and international conferences, including a Bryan School research award. Dr. Stackhouse teaches organizational behavior, cross-cultural management, organizational psychology, and workplace flourishing and human resources, earning numerous teaching award nominations. She is the recipient of the 2025 Bryan School senior faculty teaching excellence award. Her 20+ years of corporate experience, most recently as a consultant, focuses on helping organizations thrive through effective strategy, positive work culture, and leadership training. Her work bridges academic research and practical application in organizational settings.
